Train for your first marathon, half marathon or any other race

This is the time of year when runners are making plans for what races they want to compete in for 2011. We're all looking at our allotment of vacation time, vacation budgets and the time away from family that it takes to put forth such an effort. Through this blog I hope to share my story of how I was 40 pounds overweight over a decade ago and have run over ten half-marathons and one marathon.
